Just an update to note that this fine establishment has expanded, now has a frozen yogurt bar, and continues to have outstanding service, tasty coffee, and delicious baked goods. They are also now providing gluten less (gluten free) chocolate chip cookies! I'd be a customer if they started making a savory (rather than sugary) breakfast baked good - kind of like some of their breads. Sometimes I want something light - not a full-on breakfast sandwich - but not sweet to go with my coffee, and a savory muffin or something like that would be perfect. Just a suggestion.

Awesome bread selection and friendly staff! Had a turkey sandwich on some kind of amazing cheese bread! Great place to eat either before or after shopping at TJ Maxx Home Goods!

Being new to the area I had heard this place was pretty good. That was an understatement!! This place is wonderful and they gave me a free loaf of bread!! Great customer service!

They have some great sandwiches. I love going shopping then heading here for some refuel while in the area. The employees are always super nice and courteous. I like the veggie sandwich. I do wish however that they had more sweets to choose from like muffins and what not. But for a quick lunch, this place hits the spot.

I work nearby and have been meaning to go in and try one of their sandwiches. So today I did - and oh my it was SO worth it! I had the egg, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich and I was not expecting it to be so delicious. I didn't wait long, either, and the staff was super friendly! I'll definitely be coming here more often!

First time visiting this location in Denver!!! Great customer service for the young guy helping me and being friendly. We called first to put some loaves on the side for pick up! Person who answers phone should speak slower. She sounded too rush. There seems to be a good amount of staff working, when you're ready to check out, YET when you're looking for help there is no one to be found !!! Everyone is in the back...( I've worked at this place several years ago as one of my first jobs so I know the expectations of service. The girl slicing bread for samplers should consider asking customers in store if they want to sample. A customer should not ask you first. Maybe it's just preference. But that's not good customer service. Anyhow, they had lots of options fully stocked!! Cute little place! However, the pumpkin swirl taste too much like yeast. Very doughy like. Hopefully, it will taste better in oven when we get home. Looking forward to my chocolate pumpkin loaf! My favorite was available!!!

Freshly baked bread, great variety. The roast beef was fresh and tasty. The mustard was really good, with a little kick to it. Friendly staff.

Whenever I am in town, I make an effort to make it in on Friday or Saturday, so I can pick up a loaf of challah. It is simply the most delicious challah I have ever purchased, and I've tasted a lot (I'm from NYC). It makes amazing sandwiches, fantastic french toast, and best of all, tastes amazing plain, right from the bag.

I had not been here for lunch so my dad and I decided it sounded good. t was very good. Yummy jalapeno and cheese bread with a ton of turkey and guacalmole. Really how could I go wrong? The only thing i should have done was split the meal with my dad as neither of us could finish this yummy sandwich. They have a yogurt bar and I had a tiny sample. That was good to. I would certianly go back and just buy bread for the house but the sandwiches are really tasty. THey even have dog treats. Oh our dog would have enjoyed his own hard roll.

This place existed under other ownership more than five years ago so my husband and I went back to see if it was still in business. It is and even better! They have added a yogurt portion and offer a free loaf of bread if you're a new customer! And the bread is amazing! We will be making special trips back here shortly.

Yum! Love that they've taken over the yogurt shop as well and now it's all one big happy place. The bread here is delicious, the free samples are a great perk :) I can't wait to come back here and order a sandwich. Great Harvest was one of my absolute favorite places to eat in Chicago. Will definitely be retuning soon.

Service is sub-par. I waited five minutes for someone to come up front to take my order. I almost walked out. There was no bell to ring for service and it was in the middle of the afternoon. There were patrons in the lounge eating and yet no workers to be found.

This is such a great place! I have passed it too many times thinking it was just a bakery... Then one day I went inside and to my surprise they have a full menu of sandwiches along with delicious looking baked goodies. I wasn't sure what to order and when I told the lady at the counter that it was my first time there, she immediately gave me a free loaf of bread and suggested that I order the California Club on they honey whole wheat. I was not disappointed. It was such a great sandwich on the best bread! The bread is fresh and just absolutely perfect, this reminded me of a homemade sandwich but much better. I think they recently purchased the frozen yogurt shop that was next door and so in the dining area you can also get your fix of fro-yo. I brought a friend in there the second time I went and it being his first time, they gave him a free loaf of bread as well. He ordered the roast beef blue sandwich (I think that was the name of it)... I stuck with the California Cobb and tried his. They were both really great sandwiches. The service here was absolutely fantastic, the crew was friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite places for a sandwich!

Such a wonderful place. I loved getting a real sample of bread before ordering and because it was my first time they gave me a free loaf. Cannot wait to go back.

Service was really poor. Manager was brusque and unhelpful. Breakfast sandwich slid off muffin was so greasy. On the plus side, cinnamon roll was delicious. Just need to work on people skills!!

Greatest and healthiest baked goods in south Denver. I have been going to this place for years and always love all the options. They have been rotating items all year every year and you are never going to be disappointed with what is on hand. The most recent owner, Matt, and his wife are great people and add the "small-local-caring" feel you want from a hometown bakery. The yogurt shop connected to the bakery is great as well!

Love this place, but unfortunately sometimes I forget it's there. This is a local bakery with a great selection of breads, pastries, and other homemade goods. It's the kind of place that you walk in and want to buy one of everything, and then some. They even offer you a sample of some of their breads with butter while you're looking at everything and deciding what to order. How great is that? It's also a great place to get a sandwich and they have a combo that includes chips and a drink. Great lunch. If it's in season, make sure to try the chocolate chip pumpkin bread. SO GOOD.

Wow! So happy to find one of these nearby. I was a frequent customer in Rochester, NY, and will definitely become one at this location. I have to say, it's a step up in quality and service. A free slice of bread while you wait, fresh and delicious ingredients, a frozen yogurt bar, small shop with the feel of a mom and pop store and friendly staff. Can't wait to return and try some of the baked goods and yogurt!

Who doesn't like fresh-baked bread sampling with creamy, easily spreadable butter to try before you buy?! First time here today and I am a fan! I can in for a sammie and ordered the chimichurri roast beef with onions, lettuce, tomato, and chimichurri sauce that was delicious! I had it on 5 grain bread that was freshly baked. There were also all of these awesomely named breads to try before you buy and we sampled three: feta and spinach, cinnamon crunch, and parmesan sourdough. I loved the first two because the breads were warm, thick, and pillowy...but the last was thin and just ok. I could have actually skipped lunch because of the bread sampling! They also have a Yogurt Shack frozen yogurt joint inside so you can beat the heat. They serve sodas, teas, chips, and a bevy of baked goods including monkey bread and scones. Service was with a smile and advice, which I like when I am trying new things. We shall return!

I happened upon this bakery by chance, decided to go shopping for lunch instead, and at the end realized I was famished. I noticed this little bakery at the corner of the shopping plaza and decided to stop in - and I'm glad I did! What really sets Great Harvest apart is a quaint combination of the delicious homemade bread, various adorably pre-packaged mixes of cookies, soup and free samples! I have bought loaves of bread off sampling a generous piece. Every day they lay out about 5 different loaves - some sweet, some cheesy, some salty, some spicy, some very nutty! My favorite loaf is their caramel apple loaf. Oh yes it's a slice of heaven. I have had their pumpkin chocolate chip muffins as well. My all-time favorite product though, is their harvest veggie sandwich. I have filled out 2 punch cards of harvest veggie sandwiches. That's another thing - they offer a 12-punch punch card. For every purchase you make, they will give your card a punch, and after 12 purchases - you get a loaf or sandwich FREE! I also love their attiude and overall kindness. I never take great customer service for granted and was heartwarmed to see them prepare a sandwich for a local homeless man. They have definitely earned my continued business, and as it is, I'm on my way for another harvest veggie sandwich right now! With any sandwich you can choose which of their great homemade bread to have it on. My favorite harvest veggie - on jalapeno cheddar bread, with the works - bell pepper, tomato, onion, romaine lettuce, cheese and tomato spread. Healthy and delicious!

Wow! This place is just all-around fantastic! Super welcoming and friendly staff, and knowledgeable about their breads and other products. I find it difficult to find this type of service in the Denver area, so when you find a place like Great Harvest, you go back because it's an absolute delight! We stopped in for lunch with two kiddos in tow and enjoyed a Baja Turkey sandwich (special of the day) and my husband had a turkey and swiss and the kids shared a pb&j. Doesn't sound super exciting, but we aren't fussy and like when the classics are done right! The staff offered us a free slice of fresh baked bread of our choice while waiting which was delicious and appreciated since we were hungry! We barely waited a few minutes and our food was brought to our table. While we were eating we noticed the owners engaging regulars and other customers, which I absolutely love seeing in small businesses! It was refreshing to see. Icing on the cake: as a new customer we were sent home with a fresh baked FREE loaf of bread! (And all breads they make have 5 or less ingredients, so no chemical-laden dough conditioners at this place! Love that! We will definitely be back for coffee, cinnamon rolls (which looked and smelled amazing btw)-and of course, to try the yogurt too. Great Harvest Greenwood Village is a winner!

Leave it to me to try this bread with one week left in Denver. DANG IT! I usually choose white bread over wheat every time because most wheat I have is just gross, but their honey whole wheat is amazing. I love that they have several breads out for you to try a piece of -- is this heaven? Also for sale were premixed bags of their chocolate chip cookie recipe; never tried it, but that's a neat idea.

Fantastic wheat breads for a price. Plan on paying $7 a loaf. My favorites are sunflower whole wheat, Dakota, cinnamon raisin, and honey whole wheat. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the price.

Popped in one afternoon because The Original Pancake House across the street had already closed. Surprised to notice the 2 for 1 Cinnamon Roll and Scone deal, tried one of each, both were huge, worthy of the 2 for 1 price, but not special enough for their original price tag. Grateful for the large cup of water given to me, but was a little disappointed when subsequent customers were offered free slices of breads when I wasn't. So I got up and asked to taste one (well, why not!). They were very generous with their bread samples, I think everyone got a pretty big slice. Picked the Dakota to try because everything else had a hint of sweetness and I was already sugar loaded from the sweet treats. Oh My God, the Dakota bread was absolutely wonderful! While I didn't take home a loaf that day, I was so glad to find out they come to my local farmer's market, would definitely have to get me some fresh bread next time! Very happy about this chance visit!

Awesome bread! They have specials on different days and my favorite is the one on Saturdays - pecan swirl. Yummy! And the scones are wonderful - moist and tasty. Definitely worth heading out here for good freshly made bread. Be sure to ask for samples if you can't decide. You'll be hooked!
